Child Minimum Age Policy

Child Minimum Age Policy

WHALE WATCH KAIKOURA CHILD MINIMUM AGE POLICY.

The following information outlines the Whale Watch Kaikoura policy for the minimum age of a child to participate on our tours, it is important that you read and understand this policy if you have young children.

  1. The minimum age for a child to travel on our tours is 3-years of age.
  2. Whale Watch Kaikoura maintains the right to raise the age limit depending on sea and
weather conditions at the time of check-in.
  3. Any decision to raise the age limit is made by the captain of the scheduled vessel.
  4. It has been deemed, due to the nature of our experience, the exposed coastline, changeable sea and weather conditions and the speed at which our vessels can travel at, as not suitable for a child under the age of 3-years

There is an independent local provider Kaikoura Childcare that can offer a childcare service should you require it.

Please note that this is an independent service provider so all arrangements for childcare will need to be made directly with them.
