Two Blue Whales kind of day!

Yesterday we were treated to not one but two blue whales out on our tours. We couldn't believer our luck to see two of the world's largest creatures on our tours.

Here are a few pics we managed to get as they were traveling along. From general observation we think they may have been making the most of the abundance of krill that seemed to be in close off the coastline.

Truly amazing, our visitors could believe that they were blessed in seeing not just sperm whales but also two blue whales.

Nature at its best and just goes to show that Kaikoura is truly a special place.
